Misty Marinier– Executive Director- Misty joined the staff of the McHenry County CAC in January 2016 after retiring from the Algonquin Police Department. Misty had been a valued member of the CAC multidisciplinary team for many years prior. In addition to being the Executive Director Misty is a trained forensic interviewer.




Anna Krause– Anna joined the staff in 2008 as a case manager. Since starting her employment at the CAC, Anna has become the Operations Manager along with Lead Forensic Interviewer. Anna came to the CAC with a background working with social services in McHenry County.


HeadshotMeg Krase– Meg joined the staff in 2017 as the Child/Family Advocate. Meg was previously involved with the CAC through her role as Victim/Witness Coordinator for the McHenry County State’s Attorney. Meg has held various other positions around the county which have given her exposure to the CAC and the MDT.

Kate Webster- Kate joined the staff in 2019 as Intake Coordinator. Kate was previously Kate Websterinvolved with the CAC through volunteering on the Fundraising Committee. She comes to the CAC with a background of working with the children of McHenry County through teaching and foster care. Kate is excited to transition her role from volunteer into being a staff member at the CAC, and developing relationships with the families and MDT members.

Child Advocacy Advisory Board

The Child Advocacy Advisory Board’s (CAAB) primary function is to develop and review the protocol for the response to child abuse in McHenry County.  The CAAB is comprised of representatives from the Child Advocacy Center of McHenry County, the States Attorney’s Office, law enforcement agencies, Department of Children & Family Services, Centegra Healthcare Systems, the McHenry County Mental Health Board, Youth Service Bureau, McHenry County Crisis Line, and McHenry County Court Services.
